People from all over Sosaria came to celebrate the first night of the tavern. There were jokes to be had, songs to be sung, cock fights, "Floor Meat", a ferret named Jarvey, and all kinds of other fun activities.
Thankfully there were so many strong adventurers, because as the night was coming to a close, screams were heard from the dock nearby. Everybody ran out of the tavern to find that the mythical sea creature
The adventurers fought valiantly, slaying the tentacled behemoth and splitting the treasure. Then they all retreated back into the safety of the tavern to tip their Cap't for his excellent entertainment and to one again lose their pants to bad dice rolls and dagger throws! There was magic in the air for sure this night!
The twinkling sound of magic appeared all around us as the evening came to a close. The magical wisps attracted to the tales of old and new, the laughter of drunken spirits, and the smell of a recent victory! Didn't stop the floor meat however...
