Cartography
Cartography in Ultima Online
Cartography in Ultima Online serves more than just decoding maps for treasure hunting. It allows players to create detailed maps of their surroundings and beyond. For fishermen, sea charts help plot courses or locate sunken treasures. Additionally, from Publish 105 onwards, cartography affects the dig radius for treasure maps as follows:
- 0 to 50.9 skill: 1 tile radius (exact spot digging required)
- 51 to 80.9 skill: 2 tiles radius
- 81 to 99.9 skill: 3 tiles radius
- 100 skill: 4 tiles radius
